Walsh Whiskey set out to rediscover real Irish-style Whiskey as it was made 200 years ago. When Walsh Whiskey first started in 1999, they contracted their distilling to Bushmills. But their success has allowed them to build out their own distillery in Carlow — in the heart of Ireland’s southern farm country — where they make eight versions of The Irishman Whiskies, six Writers' Tears blends, and two varieties of Irish Cream Liqueur. 

The Irishman Marsala Cask Finished Single Malt continues the majestic flight of acclaimed Marsala Cask Finish expressions with this unique blend of aged Single Malt and aged Single Pot Still Whiskey. Triple-distilled, as all Irish Whiskey should be, aged and matured in American oak Bourbon casks and Sherry Oloroso butts, this Irishman spent an additional 15 months inside Marsala hogshead casks. That's Italian fortified Wine from Florio Winery in Sicily, for all you Spirit Smartasses. The Whiskey is a non-chill filtered, non-age statement Malt bottled at 46% ABV (92 Proof).
