This is a micro:bit Power Supply Module rated at 3.3V 2A. It allows you to power your micro:bit with either a micro-USB or DC barrel jack power supply with an input range of 5V-12V.
The output voltage of 3.3v can be connected directly to the battery connector of the micro:bit, providing a stable power source.
