There's an 'e' in 'Whiskey' when it's Irish. Historically,\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Irish Whiskey distillers\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e inserted an 'e' to their spelling to differentiate their product from Scotch Whisky.
