By 1963 they were ready to start brewing \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003etheir own Sake\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and released the first finished, aged product in 1967. Today they curate, produce, age, and package \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ea variety of Sakes, Wines, and Whiskies\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e under several brands, including Togouchi.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Togouchi line of Whiskies\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e gets it’s name from the town in which it is aged — or more specifically in this case, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethe unused train station tunnel\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e that has been repurposed into a Whisky aging warehouse. \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTogouchi 9 Year Old\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e is a blended Whisky of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eScottish Single Malt\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003egrain spirit from Canada\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e — usually in a 60\/40 ratio — that has rested a full nine years in that abandoned train tunnel.
